For covered members on GLP-1s for weight loss
AmeriHealth Caritas is committed to supporting your health goals by helping offset the cost of eligible GLP-1 weight loss medications.
If you are enrolled in our medical plan and will take a GLP-1 for weight loss in 2027, you will engage directly with the Teladoc Cardiometabolic Health program to access support and resources as well as get your prescription.
You won’t pay for that prescription with your medical card; you’ll use RxSaveCard instead. Your prescription will be mailed to you instead of being filled at a local pharmacy. Your monthly copay is $75.
How the Program Works
1. You engage with Teladoc cardiometabolic health at no cost to you. If you meet the criteria, Teladoc sends your prescription to either the NovoCare or LillyDirect pharmacy, and alerts RxSaveCard of your eligibility.
2. RxSaveCard will invite you to set up your account.
3. You and your employer will both load your portion of the prescription cost onto your RxSaveCard and you’ll pay NovoCare or Lilly Direct on their site each month with that card.
4. NovoCare or Lilly Direct will mail your prescription to you.
